The Best Lookbook and Catalog Templates For Fashion and Design
Updated: Oct 10, 2019
You’ve designed your products. Taken your photos. Now you need to show potential wholesale buyers and shoppers. That’s where a good catalog or lookbook comes in. Lookbooks (or look books) are more lifestyle previews of your brand and new lines, while catalogs give buyers details on how to make a purchase. As your business grows, you’ll probably need both.
The good news is that it’s relatively easy to create a catalog or lookbook by starting from a template. Templates make it so much easier to focus on on your product line instead of your presentation. But because we know how important it is to make an amazing first impression, I’ve curated several of the best lookbook and catalog templates available on Creative Market, where I buy most of my graphics.
Many of these templates are made for Adobe InDesign, the professional standard layout program, but I’ve also included a Powerpoint template and a few multi-purpose brochures/portfolios/catalogs to choose from. Find a layout that fits your style and then customize the colors, fonts, and imagery to make it your own. Here’s the list:
Neutral Look Book for Minimal Fashionable Brands
The BRUS is a fashion look book and magazine that’s on-trend for 2019 and beyond. Using elegant, minimal typography, neutral colors and wide white spaces, this look book template seems like a pearl in your hands. While it only contains a few pages, so it’s better for brands with limited product lines, or who want to send out timely updates to their subscribes, this template is a winner. Print it on high gloss paper for best effect!
Winter Outfit Editorial Catalog
Another catalog from Flowless, this one features subtle color blocking in the season’s popular neutrals, pinks, and terracotta. This template offsets its delicate color backgrounds with bold typography and modern, stylized sans serif fonts. This one is a little cleaner than the Autumn look book by the same author, which relies on more burnt tones. You can’t go wrong with either of these look book templates.
Best Catalog for a Single Collection or A Few Items
A simple, minimal template, the Sate catalog is ideal for : highlighting a single collection or for designers with only a few items. Each double-page spread features space for a lifestyle and an up-close image, alongside space for you to tell the story of each piece. 30 pages, InDesign template. If you like this, you can also see their matching Sate Lookbook based on the same style.
A Catalog Template With Big Imagery
This template doesn’t swing one way or the other, but instead focuses on a clean reading experience and big, bold imagery. While there are no pages for creating line sheet-type layouts (which are easy enough to do on your own), this template is a great jumping-point for setting the look for a larger catalog. The thin fonts and elegant layout are ideal for jewelry and high fashion brands.
Mia Portfolio and Template
The Mia InDesign template can be used as a catalog, portfolio, or look book for female-focused and lifestyle brands Like all of Nonola’s templates, this one is trendy and superbly designed, with 22 pages and several unique layouts to work with. If you like this one, it comes with a matching social media kit.
Magnolia Lookbook Template
The Magnolia Lookbook Template is an elegant and fashionable proposal template that you can easily turn into a lookbook for your product lines. It's overlal soft and feminie, relying on color blocks and large images to make an impact. It you're creative, you could turn this lookbook into a vibrant proposal or lookbook without sacrificing its minimal appeal. **Update: Ther'es now a whole suite of Magnolia templates to match! This fall-themed look book template is built out for more robust collections. It includes 28 pages of different layouts for showcasing collections and a few item variations. I love the unique typography and well-balanced pages here. Though it’s created with shades of brown (perfect for the Fall), you cna easily update the colors and turn this into a bold and bright look book.
Studio Lookbook by Studio Standard
Studio Standard’s self-titled look book is moody and minimalist. While all of the studio’s products are first-rate, I chose this one for its strong typography and bold layout . If you prefer a cleaner feminine style, try customizing the Phoebe Lookbook/ Mini Mag . Studio Standard also offers matching social media templates.

The Dawson Catalog and Angelina Lookbook are square InDesign product catalog and lookbook templates. Though Dawson is crafted perhaps with interior design in mind , you can use this template for anything, as its minimal layout and clear typography put your products in the spotlight. This Fashion Lookbook is another modern pick from Boxkayu. It’s bold and masculine, and looks more like an ecommerce store or presentation than traditional catalog.
